Corneal Topography
A Corneal Topography Exam maps out the imperfections of your cornea as it measures the corneal curvature. Dr. Mang uses the Alcon EyeMap EH-290.
Before the exam the technician will explain exactly what to do. While the machine may look intimidating, it is easy and painless for the patient! Like most other eye evaluation instruments, you will need to put your chin and forehead on the machine and wait for the test to start.
During the exam, the machine will project rings of light onto the surface of the cornea. These rings are reflected back and used to create a map of the cornea. This map gives Dr. Mang information about the shape of your cornea, which will help him in determining your eye health as well as performing vision correction procedures.
LATISSE®
LATISSE® is an FDA approved eyelash enhancement treatment used to treat hypotrichosis. Hypotrichosis is a condition of inadequate or not enough eyelashes. LATISSE ® has the ability to increase growth, length, thickness, and darkness of eyelashes.
